Is a famous green tea originally grown in the Dong Ting mountain of Tai Hu, Jiangsu Province, China and konwn as Scary Fragrance taste. Bi Luo Chun was first called "Scaringly aromatic" but this unrefined name was later changed by a Qing Emperor. It's green, it's spiral, and it's being picked in Spring, and so it got it's beautiful name. Taste: Pour in the hot water first before putting in the tea leaves. The first infusion is strong and has a lasting aftertaste. Second infusion features a more complex shifting fruity, flowery and nutty notes in the taste. Appearance: Beautiful tiny, slightly curled tea leaves covered with white down. The liquor is bright yellow in color. Origin: Dong Ting, Jiang Su Province Jim's brewing guide: Using glass-based or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 160ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 70°c (158°F) to 80°c (176°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
